Job transition is one of the fears that we'll encounter professionally. Especially when you get used to working with a job that is significant to our lifestyle. It's not always easy to let go and accept change. As mothers, transitioning into another career path can be even more stressful because our loved ones depend on us so much at home as well! Job transition isn't something trivial or lighthearted - instead, think through your needs carefully before making any big decisions about work changes in order for them to fall in line with what works best for your family situation too! Job transition is not a joke because it needs to be thought through and be tailored to the needs of our family, especially if you are a mother.
To switch to a job successfully, you have to consider these things:
evaluating your reason why you need to leave your current job,
set up what you are looking for in a new job,
consider better opportunities,
the location,
and of course the salary.
You may also try to search for a job first before resigning to your current job.
You can start your own business, be a freelancer or find a remote job.
These steps should be follow to ensure the job transition is as smooth as possible.
The first few months are the time to listen, learn and absorb everything you can to enable you to sink in to your new role effectively. May it be transition to a corporate job again or into an online job which you can do anywhere especially in the comfort of your home.

Expect Challenges - I personally admit that starting a new job is terrible. It requires a lot of patience and diversion. We must anticipate that the job will never be exactly the same as we think of. However, our transition into the new organization will be smoother than we think if we get ourselves ready for the challenges along the way. So, create new goals, be confident, believe in yourself and be proactive.
Get Ready to Adjust - When you get into a new job, probably you will work with new processes. New work place, stationery, colleagues, and even the toilet. But when it comes to home based transition it will have another difference, you're going to work alone at your own convenience. No co-workers and boss to deal with. Avoid comparing between your new and your old job, so you'll not get confuse, out of focus or even feel anxious. It is about your new relationship with new people virtually. It still requires understanding, and working with them as a team.
Welcome New Learning - It is always good to learn new things, from new people and experiences. Don't separate yourself from the possibilities of growing as an individual. Show what you got, however it will be profitable to learn from other people as well. Be observant, write things down that could help you remember easily. Being working at home, it will be your chance to be more independent, learn and work by yourself and even solve problems alone. A freelancer's special skills that was buried when you were at your corporate world.
Enjoy and Have Fun - Finally, don't stress up yourself at all, just enjoy your time working at home while you can literally see your loved ones and earning money at the same time. You can wisely manage your time, having fun performing your duties online, as a wife and specially as a mother.
By thinking carefully about these things, you can immediately take the plunge. And make sure that you will not make a bold career move that you might regret in the near future.
You can choose to switch to be a freelancer by starting to educate yourself watching tutorials from the internet or enrolling to a freelancing course. There are different kinds of free and paid freelancing courses offered online.
One of the best community that I can recommend is my second family, The Freelance Movement Tribe. A group leading by a very generous and awesome man, JOHN R. PAGULAYAN. Check out of their YouTube channel and be inspired: https://www.youtube.com/c/TheFreelanceMovementTribe
